Juergen Teller is an inspiration to many. Born in Erlangen, Germany in 1964, the photographer has a seemingly endless list of achievements and successes. He abandoned his family trade due to allergies and enrolled at Munich's Bayerische Staatslehranstalt für Photographie in 1984 to study Photography. After completing this, he moved to London were he found work in the music industry taking photos for bands, with one of his most famous pieces being a picture of Sinéad O'Connor for her single 'Nothing Compares 2 You'.
His first British Vogue cover was of Kate Moss in August 1994. His gritty, brutal, un-cut aesthetic began to develop in 1996 when he photographed Kirsten McMenamy with 'Versace' written across her chest in red lipstick. Between this and 2013, Teller has many recorded successes and work that generated the reputation he now has in the industry.
